Who We Are

BOAT Foundation is a nonprofit that funds the purchase of medical supplies ( blood, oxygen, and medicines) for low-income patients in underserved communities across Africa.

We are driven by a belief that a truly equitable healthcare system is possible. A system where Africans regardless of their education, background, or financial status can access the healthcare they need.

What We Do

BOAT Foundation pays fully or subsidizes critical medical supplies (blood, oxygen, medicines) for patients nominated by their doctors or other health workers. Payments are made from a public trust funded by institutions that care about their community.

Our work is solving a critical problem. In the face of widespread poverty, Africans who cannot afford medical supplies are left with a certain fate- death. With BOAT Foundation, they are given a second chance at life.
